Yes! We offer indoor accommodations for dogs and a separate cat room for the kitties. We do require that everyone is up to date on their annual exam, vaccinations, fecal and heartworm test. Is Daisy overdue? We can update what she needs while she stays with us. Holidays book up quickly, call us at 817-921-5429 to make a reservation.
Do you do grooming?
We are TERRIBLE at hair cutting! We do, however, offer bathing services during the week. In addition to bathing, we also express your pet’s anal glands, trim nails and clean their ears.
Why does my pet need an annual exam?
Many veterinary products are labeled “Caution: Federal law restricts this drug to use by or on the order of a licensed veterinarian.” This means, that by law we need to have a Veterinarian Patient Client Relationship, (VPCR) where we need to examine your pet annually to ensure that the medicine, she needs is the correct and best product for her health. With certain medications, we need to do bloodwork to monitor organ function. While this might be frustrating to many animal owners, we appreciate your understanding that we need to follow the law.
Do you have an online store?
Yes! You may order your pet’s prescription food and/or medications online through VetSource. Some products can even be auto-shipped, so you’ll never run out of Blackie’s special food. The products are exactly the same as what we have here in the clinic, no need to worry about counterfeits or non-FDA approved products.
Do you offer any discounts?
Yes! We offer discounts for senior citizens, active and retired military personnel, and Fort Worth Zoo employees. Please let us know if you are eligible for a discount.
